Faculty of Teachers Education was established in 1956 for the purpose of training teachers for Basic Schools according to the scheme of Basic Education. It runs graduate course in Education (B.Ed.) as well as research in Education affiliated to C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur. The intense participation of both students and teachers provides a solid knowledge base for research in fields like teacher education, school education, higher education, educational administration and management, etc.

At present it has the following one department:

The faculty provides an interdisciplinary and integrative educational approach to students that will match their interests, philosophical leanings, and prospective job profiles. The Faculty’s primary goal is to provide transformative education.
